Colección: DECABINET

DECABINET is an illustrated journey through time, a collection of nine cabinets that preserve the essence of nine decades of the twentieth century, from 1910 to 1990.

Each illustration is a small archetypal house, with three shelves that become caskets of memory: on them rest musicians, works of art, architectures, design objects, and events that have shaped the collective imagination. These are not realistic portraits, but transformations: figures reduced to simple geometries, essential signs that do not aim to photograph reality but to capture its fragrance, its echo, its spark.

The result is a portable museum, a 20th-century cabinet of curiosities: an intimate encyclopedia where each drawer contains fragments, memories, poetics, and condensed visions. It is both an archive and a work of art in itself, as it reflects on the concept of collection, memory, and how an entire era can be enclosed within a limited space.

Like souvenirs from a journey through time, the cabinets preserve memories that are never exhaustive, but partial, chosen, filtered—yet enough to evoke the magic of an era.
