INKONICITIES

The idea of the inkonicity series is to make a quick tour Around the world through 21 illustrations, 21 images that relate the same number of iconic cities. Working on clichés, platitudes, on symbols and architecture to shape figures that as masks of the “commedia dell'arte” have an appearance in balance between anthropomorphic abstract.and that represent the essence of the metropolis depicted.
An exercise of decomposition and recomposition to uninhibit the senses through the use of geometry and colors. Disordered rigor or a realistic fantasy are oxymorons present in these compositions. An interlocking series of geometric shapes around a central matrix: the city.
The ingredients of these collages are a bit of irony, two handfuls of fantasy and a touch of imagination.
